Ryan is the driving force behind Conviction. A regulated sole practitioner and award-winning criminal justice advocate, Ryan founded Conviction in 2017, fueled by a passion to challenge systemic injustices and promote meaningful reform. His unwavering commitment to advocating for the most vulnerable within the criminal justice system stems from years of witnessing firsthand the devastating impact of bad practice. Armed with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Bangor University, Ryan is currently pursuing an MSc in Criminal Investigation at the University of Central Lancashire. He aspires to practice at the Bar of England and Wales, further solidifying his dedication to championing justice and fairness within the legal system.
