Bio

About Me
I'm a PhD student studying clinical trials methodology, specifically how exercise interventions can be optimised for people at risk of dementia, at the University of Birmingham. Previously I studied Psychology and Neuroscience, leading to my interest in user experience research.

My previous research projects have been varied, and focused on: better understanding how environment affects alcohol use; understanding how dopamine receptors in the brain respond to electrical stimulation; and optimising exercise interventions for people at risk of dementia.

In my spare time, I volunteer for the Criminal Justice Hub as a User Researcher.

Why I Volunteer?
I volunteer as I'm passionate about social justice and improving access to services that enable service users to access the information that they need. I'm also hoping to gain more experience in a variety of user research methods.
