Charitable Aims and Objectives

The Charity’s objects are restricted specifically, in each case only for the public benefit in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 to:

  • Monitoring the abuses of Human Rights
  • Obtaining redress for the victims of Human Rights abuse
  • The relief of poverty and financial hardship amongst prisoners and other convicted people living within England and Wales by providing advocacy, legal assistance, investigation activities, and assistance regarding appeals of criminal convictions and sentences via applications to the Crown Court, High Court, Criminal Cases Review Commission, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and Secretary of State for Justice.
  • Promoting the sound administration of justice and proper administration of the law for the public benefit, by all or any of the following
  • Providing advocacy, legal assistance, investigation services, and assistance regarding appeals of criminal convictions and sentences via applications to the Crown Court, High Court, Criminal Cases Review Commission, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and Secretary of State for Justice to persons who, through lack of means, would otherwise be unable to afford or access them.
  • Informing and educating, criminal justice agencies, policy makers, investigating and prosecuting authorities, the legal profession, and the public about any systematic issues which need to be addressed on a case by case basis.
